Irwin Associates regains sole possession of the lead in week 6. Harris drops to last after being tied for 1st. Irwin Football of Delaware pulls within 1 game of the lead. The season is up for grabs in one of the tightest contests in recent years. Irwin Associates is the only company that has been able to maintain at least a tie for 1st in the season standings.
Reports from Harris Futuristic Forecasts are showing the signs of pressure. Confidential sources high in the organization were quoted as saying that " We are reviewing performance of our all of our field agents....some may be fired in the very near future." Major shakeups are required to get the syndicate moving in the right direction. All is not lost as there are only 3 games separating 1st from 3rd.
OHIO STATE BLOWS 17 POINT LEAD After leading 17-0 and seemingly going in for another score, Ohio State throws an interception deep in Wisconsin territory and then has a bad snap on a punt and gives up a cheap touchdown at the end of the half. Ohio State was unable to score again and Wisconsin responds with 20 unanswered points for an upset win in Columbus. It was Homecoming! Another long season! |

Lydell Ross ran in for a touchdown in Ohio State's loss to Wisconsin Saturday. |
DELAWARE DOESN'T SHOW UP Trailing 19-0, Delaware is finally able to score against Hofstra but is never a challenge to the 9th ranked Pride as they pound the Blue Hens 34-19 at Newark. It was Homecoming! Another long season! Comments from Wayne Harris: Sure hope Tubby can get that 300th victory this year. Delaware is just mediocre this time around. No QB to speak of and offensive line is poor. Hofstra just had too much passing today. |
