John Irwin
John Irwin was the founder of the Annual Football Derby. He began as Irwin's Incredible Inaccuracy in 1950. His column appeared weekly in the Asbury school newspaper. In 1965 the Annual Derby began with 3 contestants. John Irwin won more championships (22) than all others combined. He also holds the all time percentage record at 70.4% and at the time of his death in 2008 he had the most all time correct picks at 9650.
